1 1/2 lbs boneless
pork shoulder
2 Tbs brown sugar; packed
1 Tbs tequilla
1 Tbs molasses
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 cloves garlic; finely chopped
1/3 cup water
1 green onion with top; sliced
Cut pork into
1-inch cubes. Place cubes in single layer in a 1-inch skillet. Top
with remaining ingrredients, except for green onion. Bring to a
boil, then reduce heat.
Simmer uncovered,
stirring occasionally until water has evaporated and the pork is
slightly carmialized, about 35 minutes. Sprinkle with green onion
and serve with wooden picks.
